Why Our Programmes Work

Tailored Learning for Every Stage of Childhood

At Giulio Pastore Pre-Primary & Primary School, we believe that the foundations of great education are laid in the earliest years. Our three interconnected programmes — Kindergarten, Pre-Primary and Primary 1–7 — are designed to build on one another seamlessly, so every child transitions with confidence and joy.

Guided by the Uganda National Curriculum and our Catholic ethos of In Christo Educamus, each programme balances rigorous academics with spiritual growth, creative expression, physical activity and character formation.

Where Every Child's Journey Begins

Our Kindergarten programme wraps each child in a warm, safe and joyfully stimulating environment. Through guided play, songs, stories and hands-on exploration, we lay the social, emotional, physical and early cognitive foundations that every child needs for a confident start in school life.

Classes are small and nurturing, with devoted teachers trained in early childhood education. Every activity — from block building to morning circle — is intentionally designed to spark curiosity, build language, and develop the fine and gross motor skills essential at this age.

Building the Bridge to Primary School

Top Class is a critical transition year. Children who complete our Pre-Primary programme arrive in Primary One confident in foundational literacy and numeracy, socially equipped and spiritually grounded. We challenge and stretch young minds while keeping learning joyful and developmentally appropriate.

Our dedicated Pre-Primary team leads children through structured lessons in reading readiness, number concepts, creative arts, physical education and Christian living — all woven together by the Catholic values that define our school.

Small class sizes, dedicated subject teachers and a culture of mutual respect ensure every child can reach their full potential.

Primary Seven sits Uganda's National Examinations Board Primary Leaving Examinations (UNEB PLE) at Centre Number 004340. Our P.7 pupils receive intensive academic preparation, pastoral support and examination readiness coaching to maximise their performance.
